  1. Great stuff…as always. Love your work.

One thing on the USSF Ed and United Soccer Coaches equivalencies that you probably know: USSF did away with back in 2014 (if memory serves me correctly). I don’t know that it was arrogance, or more so practicality, in that the U.S. had, in essence, two educational pathways — with one not FIFA-recognized.

Back then, I remember being told that the smart thing to do was to do then-NSCAA courses up to the Premier Diploma, which was the easiest (and cheapest) way to get into the A course.

As far as I know, USSF has also somewhat sewn up the foreign equivalencies too. I believe UEFA B licence holders now have to start at USSF B (someone correct me if I am wrong). I recall when going to get a UEFA B through a European FA was considered another quick way to bypass the long USSF pathway.

In any case, USC (sorry!) has pivoted well; it hosts USSF courses, and I recommend its catalog to everybody.

Now, I think USC could be a valuable resource, but I admit to being biased. I am a USC member and think very highly of Barker.
