WPS myth: AEG dropped the Los Angeles Sol when they decided to pursue building a state-of-the-art Football Stadium in Downtown Los Angeles.
BAH! Usual suspects. 😉
Most of these “myths” seem like passive-aggressive shots at random people encountered on Twitter. How common is the belief that WPS at its inception should have had a higher attendance figure than almost every Triple-A baseball team? Or, for that matter, what relatively sane person or persons blamed the fans for the league’s suspension?
